2023 Teacher Supplies $100 Grant Program

Thanks to all who purchased our crayons and supported our school supply recycling program and crayon recycling program, we were able to raise $300 for local teachers this year. We would like to give $100 for three teachers in Warrick County to support their educational spending through our Teacher Supplies $100 Grant Program.
Our Upcycled crayon products (2022-2023)
Through our 2022 school supply recycling program, we not only diverted 875 pounds of school supplies from landfills, but also made use of all of the unused school supplies to support children in need in Warrick County.
We could also donate all of the gently used school supplies to local teachers. We were pleased that we could support as many as 40 local teachers from John H. Castle, Chandler, Newburgh, Sharon, Loge, Yankeetown, Oakdale elementary schools; Castle and Boonville middle schools; Castle and Tecumseh high schools; and NUMPS preschool!
Last but not least, I’d like to thank our passionate volunteers, Karson from Castle High and Izumi!!! UPCYCLING crayons is extremely labor-intensive and time-consuming. Without their help, this wouldn’t have been possible. Their hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.
If you are a teacher of one of the schools (k-12 / public / private / special education) located in Warrick County and interested in receiving the grant, please send a form below. The submission deadline is 6pm, April 28 (Friday), 2023. Grant recipients will be announced on May 2, 2023 – Teachers’ Day- via our Facebook page.
