2024-2025 Crayons Recycling Program
We collected about a thousand of used and broken crayons from the 2024 Warrick County School Supply Recycling Challenge, which was held at John H. Castle, Chandler, and Newburgh elementary schools in May, 2024. We upcycle those crayons to protect the environment in Warrick County by reducing school supplies-related wastes.
PURPOSES
Purposes of this program are to
- Promote recycling and divert used school supplies from landfills
- Effectively repurpose used/broken crayons collected from the 2024 Warrick County School Supply Recycling Challenge
- Raise funds to help local teachers purchase school supplies for their classrooms by selling upcycled crayons
- Raise awareness of recycling and waste reduction
- Foster a stronger community

We announce via our Facebook page once our seasonal crayons are ready. Our crayons are sometimes sold out on the day of release. Follow us to receive the news about the crayons.
