2023 Warrick County School Supply Recycling
PURPOSES
- TO ADVANCE RECYCLING AND REDUCE WASTE GENERATION IN WARRICK COUNTY
- TO SUPPORT CHILDREN IN NEED IN WARRICK COUNTY
- TO SUPPORT TEACHERS IN WARRICK COUNTY
- TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN TO BECOME AGENTS OF POSITIVE CHANGE IN OUR COMMUNITY
- TO BUILD A STRONGER COMMUNITY

Recycling bins are placed at the lobby during May 11-24.
Please use those recycling bins to recycle your used/unused supplies.
WHAT YOU CAN RECYCLE
Pencils, scissors, rulers, crayons, glue sticks: you name it. You can recycle any school supplies.

2022 HIGHTS
- We collected 875 pounds of school supplies from John H Castle, Newburgh, and Chandler Elementary School.
- We donated all of the unused school supplies to support children in need in Warrick County.

3. We donated all of the gently used school supplies to local teachers. We were pleased that we could support as many as 40 local teachers from John H. Castle, Chandler, Newburgh, Sharon, Loge, Yankeetown, Oakdale elementary schools; Castle and Boonville middle schools; Castle and Tecumseh high schools; and NUMPS preschool!

4. We UPCYCLED crayons, using all of the old and broken crayons to raise money for local teachers through our [Crayon recycling program].
5. We raised $300 and provided $100 grants to three local teachers to support their educational spending through our [Grant program]. Grant recipients will be announced on May 2, 2023 – Teachers’ Day.
