2021 Results

We hosted the “2021 Warrick County School Supply Recycling Challenge” at John H. Castle and Chandler Elementary during May. In the event, school children were encouraged to recycle their used school supplies.

Recycling boxes were placed at the lobby. We accepted any supplies. They received a sticker after recycling!

2021 Warrick County School Supply Recycling Challenge was a SUCCESS!

Thanks to John H. Castle and Chandler elementary schools, we were able to collect 273 pounds (108 pounds from Chandler elementary school and 165 pounds from John H. Castle) of used school supplies this year. And we are happy to announce that we were able to donate all of the unused / gently used school supplies!!

We donated all of the unused school supplies to  God Is Good Foundation, INC this year as well. God Is Good Foundation has been supporting children in need in Warrick County. One out of three children here needs financial assistance.

We also donated gently used school supplies to local teachers through our facebook page.

We are glad that we could reach more teachers and schools this year — 13 teachers from Elbefeld, Chandler, Oakdale elementary schools, Tecumseh High School, and Noah’s Ark preschool along with God Is Good Foundation.

The collected school supplies were also used to help international students at USI !

Again, thank you all who supported our program! And thank you Walmart Newburgh and Old National Bank Newburgh for kindly sponsoring our program!

Best wishes for the new school year!!
